The Burden of Knowledge

The empire of Ronka was a place of magic and enlightenment, of peace and prosperity. Sadly, it was not meant to last. Though naught but ruins remain, they remain heavily guarded nonetheless. The Qitana Ravel is perhaps the most sacred of these sites, home to the ancient wisdom of the past. With the advent of the Flood, however, you have reason to believe something more sinister now resides there as well.

Bosses

Lozatl

During the battle, there are several moves to watch out for. Stonefist is a tankbuster attack, while Sun Toss is a circle AoE that appears below a random player. Lozatl's Scorn involves one of the background statues glowing purple and eventually causing high damage across half of the arena. Heat Up is a move where one side of Lozatl's body glows red-hot in preparation for Lozatl's Fury. During Lozatl's Fury, Lozatl moves to the center of the arena and faces a random direction, attacking the half of the arena his glowing side is facing for high damage. Eventually, Lozatl combines both Lozatl's Scorn and Lozatl's Fury, though there is always a safe area, the size of which can greatly vary.

Batsquatch

In the encounter with Batsquatch, it has several abilities. Ripper Fang is a tankbuster attack, while Soundwave causes moderate damage to the entire party. The ability called Subsonics involves Batsquatch stomping the ground multiple times, which deals low damage that accumulates over time. During this attack, rocks fall into the arena as circle AoEs of different sizes, with the largest AoEs leaving pillars behind. If there are any pillars present when Batsquatch uses Soundwave, they will collapse, dealing massive damage and applying Vulnerability Up in a narrow cone in the direction they fall. It is important to note that the pillars will always fall in a way that keeps their entire damaging area within the arena.

Lightwarden: Eros

During the encounter with Lightwarden Eros, players must be aware of various abilities. The tankbuster ability, known as Rend, deals high damage to the tank. Hound out of Heaven is a proximity tether that targets a random non-tank player, causing Eros to charge at them for high damage. If the player is not far enough away to turn the tether purple, they also receive a stack of Vulnerability Up. Glossolalia inflicts moderate party-wide damage. Viper Poison creates several circle AoEs on the platform, dealing damage and leaving behind poison puddles that inflict the Poison debuff. Occasionally, one of the puddles will target a player instead. After Viper Poison, Eros casts Inhale, jumping to the back of the room and dragging all players into the center of its hitbox. Immediately after Inhale, Eros uses Heaving Breath, knocking all players to the other side of the arena. It is important to position yourself away from poison puddles before this cast goes off. Confession of Faith is when Eros moves to an edge of the arena and performs one of two attacks: Lightning Breath or Fire Breath. Lightning Breath occurs if Eros's side heads have electrical orbs near their mouths, resulting in a stack marker on a random player and large cone attacks from the side heads. Fire Breath happens if Eros's center head has a fiery orb in its mouth, causing player-targeted circle AoEs on two random players and a large cone attack from the center head. To avoid Fire Breath, players should stand directly next to Eros's sides.
